    Fabulous men’s hula from 2010 Merrie Monarch Festival. It really gets going at the 3:00 mark. You have to love a man who can walk off the stage like that.

    Jamaica Osorio is a Hawaiian poet. Here she is in 2009 at the White House. I met her father (Professor of Hawaiian Studies, musician & activist) at a reading festival on the Big Island this past weekend.
